زمینه و اهداف :  بیماری ویروس کرونا به نام همه گیر COVID-۱۹ در اثر سندرم حاد تنفسی حاد کرونا ویروس۲ (SARS-CoV-۲) ایجاد می‌شود، که بیش از ۲۰۰ کشور در سراسر جهان را تحت تأثیر قرار داده است. این مطالعه با هدف شناسایی نشانگرهای زیستی آزمایشگاهی ساده و سریع در دسترس برای کمک به سهولت موثر در طبقه‌بندی بیماران مشکوک به  COVID-۱۹ انجام شد.
مواد و روش کار :  بنا بر یک پروتکل استاندارد، داده‌های بالینی، اتیولوژیکی و آزمایشگاهی ۱۴۰ بیمار که از مهرماه تا آذرماه سال ۱۳۹۹ در گروه آزمایشگاه پزشکی، تهران، ایران، برای تشخیص ابتلا به عفونت SARS-CoV-۲ تحت آزمایش‌هایPCR  قرار گرفتند، جمع‌آوری شد. پارامترهای لکوسیت، پروتئین واکنش‌پذیر C (CPR) و سطح فریتین در بیماران با نتیجۀ مثبت PCR COVID-۱۹ اندازه‌گیری شد.
یافته ها :  ۱۴۰ بیمار مبتلا به عفونت کووید ۱۹ در مطالعه وارد شدند. متوسط ​​سن در زنان ۴۱/۵ (۶۰-۲۳) سال و در مردان ۴۵/۳ (۶۸- ۲۲) سال بود. بر اساس نتیجه RT-PCR ، از نظر تعداد نوتروفیل، لنفوسیت و مونوسیت تفاوت معنی‌داری وجود داشت. به‌طور کلی ، تعداد مونوسیت‌های  ۸/۷۲٪ بیماران بیش از / L ۱۰۹ × ۱۱ بود. میانگین نسبت لنفوسیت نوتروفیل (NLR) برای زنان ۲/۸ (۱/۸=SD) و ۲/۶ (۱/۷=SD) برای مردان بود. فقط در ۱۵ بیمار (۱۰/۷٪) با علائم تنفسی ، سطح CRP بیش از ۵ میلی‌گرم در لیتر بود.
نتیجه‌گیری :  افزایش قابل توجهی در تعداد مونوسیت‌ها مشاهده شد. لنفوپنی نیز در نتایج گزارش شد. در بیماران با علائم تنفسی، CRP به‌طور قابل توجهی بالاتر از محدودۀ مرجع طبیعی بود.
