زمینه و اهداف:  در حال حاضر HIV,HBV و عفونت همزمان با HIV/HBV یکی از موضوعات مهم بهداشت جهانی محسوب می شود. تخمین زده شده که حدود ۷/۲ میلیون نفر در سراسر جهان به عفونت همزمانHIV/HBV مبتلا هستند. در سالهای اخیر نتایج امیدوارکننده ای در حوزه تحقیقاتی از میکروآرناها نشان داده شده است. هدف از این مطالعه تعیین میزان سطح بیان میکروآرناهای ۱۲۲، ۱۴۹، let۷,۱۹۹a در بیماران مبتلا به عفونت  HIV,HBVو عفونت همزمان با HIV/HBV و کنترل سالم است.
مواد و روش کار:  در مطالعه ی فعلی سطح بیان میکروآرناها در PBMC (سلول های کوچک تک هسته ای محیطی) به دست آمده از بیماران به وسیله ریل تایم پی سی آر ارزیابی شد.
یافته ها:  میکروآرنا ۱۲۲ در بیماران مبتلا به عفونت همزمان HIV/HBV در مقایسه با دیگر گروه ها افزایش بیان قابل توجهی داشت (P<۰/۰۰۱). همچنین میکروآرنا let۷,۱۹۹a در همه بیماران در مقایسه با گروه سالم کاهش بیان چشمگیری داشت (P<۰/۰۰۱). تحلیل های همبستگی ارتباط منفی مهمی بین سطح بیان miR۱۴۹ و miR-۱۹۹a با لود HIV (P<۰/۰۰۱) و لود  HBV(P<۰/۰۰۱) نشان داد.
نتیجه‌گیری:  این مطالعه عمدا می تواند دیدگاه های محدود در زمینه ی میکروآرناها در عفونت HBV و HIV را منعکس کند. این مطالعه تحقیقات بیشتری برای فهم بهتر نقش میکروآرناها در عفونت HBV و HIV را پیشنهاد کرده است.
