مقاله ای تحت عنوان «بررسی فاکتورهای ویرولانس انتروکوکوس فکالیس جدا شده از نمونه های ادرار» در شماره 3 و 4 (پاییز و زمستان، صفحات 53-58) سال 1387 مجله میکروب شناسی پزشکی ایران به چاپ رسید. در این مقاله از نمونه ادرار 600 بیمار بستری 114 سویه (%19) انتروکوک جدا شده است. با انعکاس نظرات داوری به نویسنده محترم رابط، ایشان به چند سطر اول و منابع 8-6 مقاله استناد نمودند. مراجع 6 و 7 به ترتیب مقاله های Ronald و گزارش سیستم ملی مراقبت عفونت های بیمارستانی (NNIS) در آمریکا (1990-1999) هستند و مرجع 8 هم کتابی است که در دسترس اینجانب نیست. به نظر می آید که جدا شدن این تعداد سویه انتروکوک به توضیح نیاز دارد. لذا، مطلب حاضر پیرامون این موضوع نگاشته شد.
