چکیده:   (3365 مشاهده)
زمینه و هدف: مطالعه حاضر با هدف ارزیابی فعالیت های ضد باکتری و آنتی اکسیدانی برخی از محصولات عسل عربستان سعودی انجام شد.
مواد و روش ها: برای این تحقیق، ۶۰ محصول عسل تولید شده توسط عربستان سعودی برای تعیین فعالیت ضد میکروبی در برابر عوامل بیماری زای بسیار مقاوم به آنتی بیوتیک و همچنین فعالیت آنتی اکسیدانی بررسی شد. برای مقایسه از عسل مانوکا به عنوان یک استاندارد، بهره برداری شد.
یافته‌ها: با آزمایش عسل‌های تولیدی عربستان سعودی، سطوح مختلف جلوگیری از رشد در برابر ۵ سویه باکتری مشاهده شد. این عسل باعث جلوگیری از رشد سویه های بیماری زا استافیلوکوکوس اورئوس، اشریشیا کلی، پروتئوس ولگاریس، سیتروباکتر دایورسوس و سالمونلا انتریکا گردید. این میزان ممانعت از رشد به نوع عسل بستگی داشت. مطالعه تطبیقی ​​عسل‌های عربستان سعودی نشان داد که ارتباط زیادی بین پلی فنل و فلاونوئید کل و فعالیت های مهار رادیکال وجود دارد.
نتیجه گیری: تحلیل نتایج این مطالعه نشان داد  که محصولات عسل عربستان سعودی توانایی مهار رشد باکتریهای بیماریزا و انجام فعالیتهای مهار رادیکال را دارند.
