The Iranian Journal of Medical Microbiology (IJMM) is committed to addressing complaints in a fair and timely manneق.
1. Submitting a Complaint:
Complaints related to the journal’s operations, editorial staff, ethical concerns, or the publication process should be sent via email to the Associate Editor-in-chief at: vahab.p
gmail.com.
2. Acknowledgment and Response
Complaints will be acknowledged within three working days.
A full response will be provided within four weeks.
3. Escalation:
If the complainant is not satisfied with the response, the case will be escalated to the Editor-in-Chief for further review.
4. External Referral:
Unresolved complaints that fall within the remit of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) may be referred to COPE for independent advice.
Note: Complaints are distinct from appeals (Appeals Process Section), which address editorial decisions; complaints concern ethical, procedural, or operational issues.
