Appeals Process

Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision (e.g., rejection after peer review) should contact the Editor-in-Chief, clearly detailing the basis for their appeal.

• Appeals must be submitted in writing, including specific reasons and supporting evidence for reconsideration.

• The Editor-in-Chief will review the appeal and may consult the Editorial Board or external experts if needed.

• A final decision regarding the appeal will be communicated to the authors as soon as possible, typically within four weeks.

Note: Appeals are strictly about editorial or peer-review decisions and do not include complaints about ethical misconduct or journal operations, which should be addressed under the Complaints Process (Complaints Process Section).
