زمینه و اهدف: فلوسایتومتری روشی سریع است که می‌تواند هزاران سلول را در هر ثانیه تحلیل کند و برای تعیین زنده‌مانی جمعیت‌های میکروبی و حساسیت آنتی‌بیوتیکی باکتری‌ها استفاده شود. در این مطالعه، الگوهای مقاومت آنتی‌بیوتیکی در جدایه‌های اسینتوباکتربومانی با روش فلوسایتومتری بررسی شد.  
 
مواد و روش کار: 55 جدایه اسینتوباکتر بومانی از 230 نمونه بالینی بیماران جداسازی و با تست‌های بیوشیمایی شناسایی شدند. الگوی مقاومت آنتی‌بیوتیکی با روش انتشار در دیسک تعیین و جدایه‌های  MDRانتخاب شدند. حداقل غلظت مهار‌کننده رشد (MIC) آنتی‌بیوتیک‌های مروپنم و پیپراسیلین تازوباکتام  برای جدایه‌های MDR تعیین شد. الگوی مقاومت آنتی‌بیوتیکی ایزوله‌ها نسبت به این دو آنتی‌بیوتیک با رنگ‌آمیزی رودامین 123 و روش فلوسایتومتری تعیین گردید و نتایج مقایسه شد. برای محاسبه انحراف‌معیار مقاومت‌های آنتی‌بیوتیکی و نتایج MIC آنتی‌بیوتیک‌ها از تست STDEV در برنامه اکسل استفاده شد. ابه منظور ارزیابی توافق بین نتایج تعیین الگوی مقاومت آنتی‌بیوتیکی با استفاده از روش‌های انتشار در دیسک، MIC و فلوسایتومتری از روش معیار توافق یا Category Agreement  (CA) استفاده شد.
 
یافته‌ها: 98درصد جدایه‌ها MDR بودند. میزان MIC مروپنم از μg/mL 256-8 و پیپراسیلین μg/mL1024-128 بود. با فلوسایتومتری نشان داده شد که در غلظت‌های μg/mL 2، 4 و 8 مروپنم، به ترتیب فقط 96/1 درصد، 44/1 درصد و 59/0 درصد سلول‌ها کشته شدند. در غلظت‌های μg/mL 16، 64 و 128 پیپراسیلین تازوباکتام به ترتیب 13/8 درصد، 11/3درصد و 5/9 درصد سلول‌ها کشته شدند. کاهش تعداد باکتری‌های زنده با افزایش غلظت‌های هر دو آنتی‌بیوتیک مشاهده شد.  
 
نتیجهگیری: تطابق میان نتایج روش فلوسایتومتری و هر دو روش تعیین حساسیت ضدمیکروبی آگار و میکرودایلوشن براث نشان داد که فلوسایتومتری می‌تواند به عنوان روشی سریع و قابل دسترس می‌تواند برای این منظور استفاده شود.
